A dedicated and thoughtful educator, Matthew Pearson is Co-Director of the New York City Department of Education – Office of Leadership’s New Principal Support Program.  Mr. Pearson has an extensive background in Leadership Coaching generally, and School Leadership Coaching, specifically.

Matt earned his PCC in January 2019, after coaching principals and training new principal coaches in the New York City Department of Education. In May 2019, Matt and Co-Director, Elyse Doti Cohen, earned ICF Accreditation for the NYCDOE School Leadership Coaching program, believed to be the first school system in the United States with an accredited coach training program.

Matt is currently a doctoral student at St. John’s University in Educational Administration and Supervision.  He is married and lives with his wife in New York City.
