Laura Stephens-Reed, PCC
Moulton, AL

Laura Stephens-Reed coaches leaders and organizations to harness the opportunities and overcome the challenges presented by current or anticipated transitions in circumstance and mindset. An ordained minister since 2002, Laura works primarily with North American clergy and congregations across the ecumenical spectrum. She specializes in helping individuals and churches navigate the search and call process, envision and implement new ways of ministering, deal with conflict in healthy ways, find and live into authentic leadership approaches, create more efficient workflows, build productive teams, and strike a balance between work and play.

Laura has been credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation and as a Certified Mentor Coach through Coach Cachet. She has also been trained as a Congregational Consultant and an Intentional Interim Minister by the Center for Congregational Health. She earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and a Certificate in Faith-Based Non-Profit Leadership from Wake Forest School of Divinity. Beyond her coaching work she supports the ministries of others through interim ministry, guest preaching, workshop and retreat leadership, teaching, consulting on abuse prevention policies, writing, and gathering and resourcing peer groups of clergy.

Laura lives in Moulton, Alabama, with her husband (also a pastor) and their seven-year-old son. She loves going to the playground, reading, watching tv and movies, and cheering on SEC football teams.
